The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships (OFAS) is here to assist you through the financial aid process. Whether you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or have questions about different options to pay for school, OFAS is here to help.
Financial Aid in 5 Steps
- Apply for admission to Salt Lake Community College
- Go to slcc.edu/enroll
- Click the Get Started button
- Fill out and submit the Registration Information Form
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Go to FAFSA website
- Apply for aid using the FAFSA form for the correct school year
- Enter SLCC Federal School Code: 005220
- Submit requested financial aid forms and complete requirements:
- Log in to MySLCC to review your next steps on the Financial Aid Dashboard
- Complete your Unsatisfied Requirements
- Check your BruinMail account regularly for messages from the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
- Review your financial aid offer
- You will receive an email when your financial aid offer is available*
- Review Award Offers on your MySLCC Financial Aid Dashboard
- Loans require acceptance, loan entrance counseling, and a master promissory note
- Complete SLCC’s online scholarship application
- Visit ScholarshipUniverse, our online scholarship matching system
- Use your MySLCC username and password to sign in
- Answer questions and start matching to scholarships
OFAS communicates financial aid account information to your BruinMail email account. Look for regular updates there. You can view your updated financial aid status and next steps directly on your MySLCC Financial Aid Dashboard:
