My ePortfolio philosophy: ePortfolio is a way to ensure that our courses are personally and culturally relevant for all learners. An inclusive, culturally-relevant ePortfolio praxis means we partner with both faculty and students to imagine authentic signature assignments that help students draw connections between their lived experience, course content, and learning artifacts to foster a whole-brain learning experience. It also enables learners to tell us who they are so that we can effectively adapt our curriculum to address the interests and needs of our learners. Students need to know they matter, and this doesn't just happen at the classroom interaction level, it happens when they curate their learning experience and showcase how their educational experience has transformed them. My purpose is to help both faculty and students find meaningful ways to engage in ePortfolio and ensure that it isn’t just another hoop to jump through.

My ePortfolio philosophy: My goal as an ePortfolio Specialist is to encourage individuality and creativity in students/faculty in regard to their personal portfolios. I truly believe that self-expression is a powerful tool. Our ePortfolios can display more than just our documents; presentations of our cultures, backgrounds, traditions, and so much more of what makes a student can be deciphered amongst their pages. Hopefully, portfolios can be the tool to remove ourselves from this idea of structured, employer/academically designed professionalism, and more towards a culturally relevant and unique form of professionalism.

My ePortfolio philosophy: I view the ePortfolio as a way for students to express themselves. It allows them to reflect on previous courses, reminding them of their struggles and their accomplishments. It lets them see how much they grew each semester and reminds them of all the hard work they did. I want to help encourage students to use the ePortfolio outside of the required courses. I want to encourage them to use the ePortfolio as a canvas of themselves. I feel the ePortfolio can inspire creativity, so it is my mission to show all the possibilities an ePortfolio can offer.

My ePortfolio philosophy: My personal philosophy when it comes to helping students with their ePortfolio is empowering students through active teaching in hopes of enabling them to be better equipped to know how to use their technology to their advantage. Whether that’s through helping guide them through the ins and outs of creating an ePortfolio or helping them learn nifty skills that can make it easier to figure out how to do complicated things with tech. I think it’s important to give power back to people through showing them how they can do it themselves while also jumping in where the gaps of knowledge are to provide continuous means of support and learning!

My ePortfolio philosophy: In my perspective, the ePortfolio is a powerful tool that can help students showcase their unique strengths and achievements. By providing students with a platform to document their learning journey, the ePortfolio allows them to gain a deeper understanding of their progress and growth throughout their academic career. Moreover, the ePortfolio can serve as a dynamic space for students to express their creativity and innovation, as they have the opportunity to design and curate their portfolio in a way that reflects their personality and style. I am committed to promoting the use of ePortfolios beyond the classroom, as I believe it can help students develop valuable skills in digital literacy and self-reflection that can benefit them in all aspects of their lives.

My ePortfolio philosophy: In my opinion, the ePortfolio is focused on the individual's learning and development, rather than on external requirements or expectations. It provides a space for individuals to reflect on their learning experiences, identify areas of growth and development, and set goals for the future. It recognizes that learning is an ongoing process that continues throughout a person's life and that the ePortfolio can serve as a tool for documenting and tracking this lifelong learning. Overall, the ePortfolio emphasizes the importance of self-directed learning, critical reflection, and lifelong learning.

My ePortfolio philosophy: When people ask me for help with the ePortfolio, I try to express myself and show them that I can help with whatever they want that is related to the platforms. I try to make them as comfortable as possible with me, because sometimes using the internet could be a little bit challenging, especially because Salt Lake Community College is a very diverse place including people that come from everywhere around the globe with different needs.

My ePortfolio philosophy: Eportfolios are a great way to showcase yourself to other peers. It gives you the opportunity to show off those achievements you’re proud of, hobbies, clubs, and coursework for general education and program specific classes. It’s a very positive way to introduce yourself and leave a long-lasting impression. It’s also a great way to display your personality by customizing your eportfolio to your liking.

My ePortfolio philosophy: An ePortfolio is not just an assignment that is due at the end of the semester from my perspective. It is a way to reflect on your classes and guarantee that you are actually taking away information from the classes you take. You can also use it as a way to set goals for yourself and make sure you accomplish them throughout the semester. On top of all of that, you can use it as a way to convey your personality outside of class. It can be a very useful extension of yourself, including your academic self as well as who you are and what you do outside of class.

My ePortfolio philosophy: What should we do if we need a place to organize and record what we have been learning throughout our academic year? Or if we share our portfolio, which represents our learning outcomes, skills and abilities? EPortfolio is an electronic source where we can present our knowledge and show a connection between what we have explored in the class and how these things are useful in our real life. Moreover, ePortfolio can also serve as an electronic portfolio which shares your skills, masterpiece of your desired major and career works to your friends, professors and coworkers. It can even be effective in sharing our short- or long-term goals, and fun activities.
