UTA Transit Pass

SLCC provides a transit pass to all active students, faculty and staff. Students must be enrolled in at least one course for the pass to remain valid, the pass will automatically deactivate if the student drops below the one course requirement. UTA reserves the right to deactivate any pass. The pass can be used for rides on UTA buses, TRAX, S-Line Street Car, and FrontRunner. The pass is not valid for express buses, ski resort buses, or other special UTA transportation.

f your transit pass is unused for 6 months it will be deactivated, contact the OneCard office by phone for reactivation.

Student

  • If you received a new blue OneCard after June 15, 2018, your card will automatically be activated as a Bus/Transit pass.

  • If you do not have a new blue OneCard, please visit a Campus ID center to get a new card. It will be activated at that time.

Staff and Faculty

Staff and faculty who want to use this benefit will need to opt in to receive the bus pass. If you do not want the UTA bus pass, no action is required.

Opt-in Instructions

  • If you have a new blue OneCard, please visit an SLCC ID Center with your card and request the UTA bus pass. Our staff will add you to the employee UTA opt-in list. The bus pass will be activated on August 1.

  • If you have an older OneCard (not new blue), you will need to get a new blue OneCard to have an active UTA pass. Visit an SLCC ID Center and let our staff know you want a Bus/Transit pass. You will receive a new yellow OneCard and you will be added to the UTA opt-in list.

    • If your new card is issued before August 1, the pass will automatically be activated on that date.

    • If your card is issued after August 1, our ID Center employees will activate the card for immediate use.
