Through new student orientation, and other transition programming, our office will help you make a successful start at SLCC.
All first-time, first-year students must complete an orientation — that includes new students, former-concurrent students, and early high school graduate students. Returning and transfer students do not have to complete an orientation, but can register earlier for classes if they do so.

- Log in to your MySLCC account
- Find the Orientation Cart and click on Online Orientation

Need help with the course registration process? In addition to offering registration assistance at our office locations, we can also help you virtually. To make an appointment follow the next steps:
- Click the "Schedule an Appointment" button.
- Click the box titled "Which department would you like to schedule with?" and select Orientation and Transition.
- Click the second box titled "Reason" and select "Assistance Registering for Classes."
- Click the third box titled "Pick a Date", choose your preferred date, and when you are ready click the "Find Available Time" button. (If you are on a computer, different hours and dates will show on the right side of the screen)
- Scroll down, click the "How would you like to meet?" box, and choose either Online or In-person.
- Review your appointment details. If everything looks correct, scroll to the bottom and click the "Schedule" button.
Once you schedule an appointment, you will immediately receive an email confirmation containing the Microsoft Teams meeting link for your appointment. You must use this link at the time your appointment is scheduled. If you have questions, please call 801-957-4299 or email oss@slcc.edu.
