Tuition Waiver Awards for Incoming High School Graduates
** No Application Required – Automatic Consideration if meet eligibility criteria
SLCC offers two tuition waiver award opportunities for students enrolling straight from high school. These awards are automatically applied for qualifying students—no separate application is necessary.
The eligibility requirements are listed below:
Concurrent Enrollment (CE) Transition Scholarship
Tuition Waiver Award
This award is for students who earned at least 6 credits of Concurrent Enrollment classes at SLCC during high school and are continuing at SLCC after graduation. The following is for 2026-2027 academic year only.
To qualify, students must:
- Complete at least 6 Concurrent Enrollment credits at SLCC
- Graduate from high school by August 15, 2026
- Be classified as a Utah resident by the SLCC Admissions Office
- Submit official high school transcripts and complete a residency status update before the first day of Fall Semester 2026 with the Admissions Office
- Meet SLCC’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
- Be registered for at least 6 credits for Fall 2026
Will cover tuition portion only depending on enrollment:

What to Expect
- Awards are automatically offered to eligible students who meet the criteria—no need to apply. Since students have all summer to update their info, we continuously review eligible students weekly
- Be sure all transcripts, residency info, and registration requirements are completed on time. The sooner this information is updated, the sooner you know if you qualify or not

Honors at Entrance Tuition Waiver
Tuition Waiver Award
This award supports high-achieving Utah high school graduates as they begin their college journey. The following is for 2026-2027 academic year only.
To qualify, students must:
- Have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Graduate from a Utah high school between August 15, 2025 – July 31, 2026
- Be classified as a Utah resident by the SLCC Admissions Office
- Meet SLCC’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
- Submit official high school transcripts and complete a residency status update before the first day of Fall Semester 2026 with the Admissions Office
- Be registered for at least 9 credits for Fall 2026
Will cover tuition portion only depending on enrollment:
