This is a photo of the American flag that stands outside our elementary school; Whittier school elementary. Every day members of our school take down and put up the flag unless it is raining or snowing. The American flag represents the freedom of our country, it also signifies the ones who came before us to protect us and encourages us to be like them. The American flag flies over our community and tells us how great our community is and how we need to keep it that way. The American flag represents our beloved community.
