Students With Disabilities
The services provided under an IEP/504 plan for high school students with disabilities are the responsibility of the high school. Students are advised to work with their high school SPED team member or school psychologist. Special education personnel working with these students may contact the SLCC Accessibility and Disability Services at 801-957-4659 for assistance.
For more information about the differences in accommodations between the high schools and the college, download the "There is no 'Resource Room' in College" handout.
The SLCC Accessibility and Disability Services provides the following guidelines for concurrent enrollment students:
Accommodations for Concurrent Enrollment
SLCC Campuses
For classes offered on an SLCC campus, the ADS will coordinate reasonable accommodations. Please contact the ADS to schedule an appointment with an Accessibility Advisor. Bring a copy of your IEP, if you have one, to help us determine reasonable accommodations.
High School Campuses
For classes offered at your high school, the school district is responsible to provide a plan to meet your educational needs. Please contact your high school or school district to request accommodations.
