Government Relations

The Office of Government Relations serves as the primary liaison to public officials and key agency decision markers at all levels of government, and helps connect government officials and personnel to the many services offered by the College. 

The office fosters relationships with local, state and federal officials, and produces support for a variety of key decision makers at the county, state and federal levels.

Local Government SLCC works with the 24 local government entities in Salt Lake County.
State Government SLCC works with the Governor, the State Legislature and the Utah System of Higher Education to improve student success in completing their education goals.
Federal Government SLCC works the Congressional and Executive branches of the Federal government to improve the accessibility and affordability of higher education for SLCC students.
