Collaborative Work Team (CWT)

In line with our SLCC Value of Collaboration, some strategies require the help of a Collaborative Work Team (CWT) for implementation. A CWT consists of members from various areas within the college working together to move the strategy forward.

For 2022-23, SLCC leadership commissioned the following 3 CWTs in association with specific strategies:

  • Expand Student Employment (#3)
  • Emerging Hispanic-Serving Institution (#6)
  • Engaging Communities (#8)

Strategies do not always need a CWT. Each strategy has an executive sponsor from the president’s cabinet. The executive sponsor and the lead are responsible for oversight and implementation. They report out to the college community on progress made and ensure the necessary plans and assessments are in place to ensure success.
