WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Explain the history of electricity, electron theory, basic safety principles, and DC power generation and storage
- Apply Ohm's Law to calculate electrical values in series, parallel, and combination circuits
- Identify OSHA standards, local codes, and permit processes relevant to PV system installation
- Size PV systems, design residential and commercial installations, and perform system checkout and troubleshooting
- Create solar sales presentations including site surveys, system design, pricing, and battery storage solutions
