WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Explain the history of electricity, electron theory, basic safety principles, and DC power generation and storage
  • Apply Ohm's Law to calculate electrical values in series, parallel, and combination circuits
  • Identify OSHA standards, local codes, and permit processes relevant to PV system installation
  • Size PV systems, design residential and commercial installations, and perform system checkout and troubleshooting
  • Create solar sales presentations including site surveys, system design, pricing, and battery storage solutions
