Program Overview

This 3-hour workshop is accessed via live webinar. As a result of this training participants will be able to define developmental stages and their impact on student behavior and academic performance, locate substitute teacher requirements and support information on various school district websites and other resources, and explain the importance of rules, procedures, and expectations in the classroom, school, and districts.

This workshop will focus on general guidelines and best practices for classroom substitute teachers. The workshop will cover developmental ages and stages as it pertains to classroom instruction, professional ethics and practices, classroom management strategies, and tools to help substitute teachers sustain learning in the classrooms to which they are assigned.
