Welcome to a community where your success is my priority! STEM Student Success Managers help you navigate college by providing personalized support, study skills, problem solving, decision making, and strategies for success. I support STEM students in Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Technology, GeoSciences, Physics, and Outdoor Park and Recreation majors.
For over 20 years, I have advised STEM students at Utah State, University of Utah, and SLCC. I can help you connect with resources, prepare for a seamless transfer, and learn study skills and strategies to reach your full potential and thrive academically. Hi! I am the Student Success Manager over in STEM Learning! I oversee the areas in Biology. If you are needing to meet to discuss your academic journey to success, make an appointment with me.
I oversee Biology, and Life Sciences, Exercise Science - Fitness Technician. During our meeting we would set plans to helps you be successful at SLCC. We can meet to answer questions, connect you with study skills and resources, and help empower you to take charge of your own learning. Here are areas where we can support you: Study skills, Networking Resources, Referrals, Time Management, Goal Setting, Problem Solving, and General Information when YOU need it.

Renée completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Linguistics and a Master of Education (Med) in Education, Culture and Society at the University of Utah, both as a traditional student and a non-traditional student, over many years. Renée has worked in Higher Education for over 30 years, 7 years at SLCC and the rest where at the U of U; the majority of this time at the University of Utah was in the College of Nursing, recruiting, admitting, and advising graduate nursing students. Renée believes that higher education professionals should serve as positive and practical visionaries. It is her goal to challenge those in higher education to improve every student’s experience, this not only means providing the traditional services and experiences that students have come to expect, but to also branching out to find new avenues of service to inform and expand best practices in higher education. Renée is dedicated to promoting meaningful engagement among students, faculty, and staff.
