Refugee Basic Computer Skills

All courses are taught at the Utah Refugee Center, 150 North 1950 West, Salt Lake City. The eligibility process requires participation in an interview to assess English proficiency. Space is limited to 10 participants per cohort. Cohorts remain together through completion of all three required classes. No cost to eligible participants.

This training offers essential computer literacy skills to students who have little to no previous computer experience. The goal of the program is to give Refugees greater opportunities in the workforce. Three courses are offered at no cost to refugee students who are TANF or ORR eligible.
