South High Alumni

South High Cubs still have a place to call Home

South High closed in 1988, but in 1995 the Cub Spirit rose again when prominent alumni met with Salt Lake Community College officials to discuss forming an alumni association. Since then, the South High Alumni Association and Salt Lake Community College have been great partners.

One of our hallmarks is the South High Alumni Association Scholarship. We offer full tuition awards for students wishing to attend Salt Lake Community College. To qualify, prospective students must be a direct descendent of a South High alumnus (parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, etc.) Additionally, there is a series of questions that students must answer for evaluation.

We welcome all inquiries regarding the scholarship, as well as any questions about the Alumni Association.
