Bio: John’s areas are cultural anthropology and evolutionary ecology. He has been teaching courses on United States history, human prehistory, archaeology, and cultural anthropology at Salt Lake Community college since 2012.

Bio: Dr. Meredith Wismer is an archaeologist specializing in North American prehistory. She is especially interested in zooarchaeology--using the animal bone remains found at archaeological sites to help interpret the behaviors of ancient people. She has worked on archaeological projects in Iowa, Alaska, Arizona, France, and Romania. She really enjoys teaching and coming up with creative ways to explore archaeology in the classroom.
