Early High School Graduate Admissions

If you plan to graduate early from high school and attend SLCC, and you’re under 18, you will need to follow the directions below.

If You are 17 or 18

  • Complete a New Student admission application
  • Provide official proof of high school graduation to the SLCC Admissions Office.
    • Original diploma or official sealed transcript
    • If you earned a GED, submit your official GED test scores. You must have passed all sections of the GED.
    • If you were home schooled, submit a statement that your graduation requirements have been met, and a current district release form.

If You are 16 or Younger

  • Collect the following to be submitted to the SLCC Admissions Office with your admissions application:
    • A completed and signed Parent Permission Form
    • A copy of your official state ID or driver’s license
    • Proof of graduation:
      • Original diploma or sealed transcript
      • If you earned a GED, submit your official GED test scores. You must have passed all sections of the GED.
      • If you were home schooled, submit a statement that your graduation requirements have been met, and a current district release form.

if you are on track to graduate early but the date has not passed

In place of the diploma or transcript, you can provide us with an official sealed letter on letterhead from your high school stating that you will be completing your graduation requirements early and listing the expected early graduation date. Official transcripts showing the graduation date will be required once that date has passed. Future registration will be blocked without the proof of graduation.

Note:Copies of your Diploma or GED, parent permission forms, driver's license, and district release forms may be uploaded through the SLCC application portal, mailed or brought in-person to the SLCC Admissions Office, or emailed to admissions.processors@slcc.edu. Official transcripts or letters from the high school must be sent directly to the SLCC Admissions Office by the high school.
