Federal Work Study
The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides financial support for eligible students for jobs on-campus, in local school and in the community. Students may qualify for up to $6,000 per year through their financial aid. This money is earned through your hours you work, so it does not need to be repaid.
Benefits of a federal work study position
- Earn $15/hr (minimum) working on campus.
- Earn up to $6,000 per year.
- Work between 15 and 20 hours a week.
- Get valuable mentorship from supervisors.
- Gain skills and experiences that will improve your career readiness.
- Able to work on campus or with community partners.
- Does not impact your financial aid eligibility.
