Your application documents will be evaluated once all of them have been received. Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted for evaluation. A USCIS Form I-20 and the SLCC acceptance letter will be issued after all required documents have been received and evaluated by the above deadlines.

Please upload the following documents with your online application:

1. Official Proof of High School Graduation

SLCC International Admissions policy requires official proof demonstrating completion of secondary education equivalent to a U.S. academic high school diploma. English translations may be required.

2. Travel Documents

  • Provide a copy of the main passport page including:
    • Name
    • Photo
    • Passport expiration date
  • Provide copy of visa and I-94.

English Proficiency

It is not necessary to take the TOEFL or any other English proficiency exam to be admitted to Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). All students are required to go through a placement process upon arrival at SLCC.

For more information on the placement process, visit Student Testing Services. If a student’s English skills are not proficient enough for college-level work, they will be enrolled in SLCC’s Intensive ESL program. For more information, contact or visit International Student Services.

Foreign Credit Transfer

If you have taken courses at a college or university outside of the United States, please see our Foreign College Credit Transfer Guidelines for steps on how to complete a foreign transcript evaluation.
