Who We Are

The SKIP ( SLCC Kids in Play) Program is designed as a community-based exercise and play program for children with disabilities and their families within the greater Salt Lake area, for grades 4-6.

Our Mission

SKIP's mission is to provide children with disabilities adapted physical activity opportunities in a safe, noncompetitive atmosphere that is inclusive and family oriented. The primary goals are to enable SKIP participants to build self-esteem, form friendships, strengthen families, improve fitness, and develop motor skills. SKIP will provide SLCC students the opportunity to increase disability awareness while offering practical experience working with children with disabilities in various activity environments.
