The Accelerated Business Degree program is an exciting opportunity tailored for busy, working professionals or anyone eager to start or advance a career in business. The fast-track program is online so students can complete an Associate of Science in Business degree from home, a workplace, or anywhere else they want SLCC to be. Students can finish a degree in as few as 14 months and transfer to a four-year business program!

WHAT IS THE ACCELERATED BUSINESS DEGREE PROGRAM?

The Accelerated Business Degree program allows students to earn an Associate of Science in Business degree at an accelerated pace. The program consists of six, 10-week blocks so students can complete a degree in as few as 14 months!

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM?

Any SLCC student can apply for the ABD program. This program is ideal for working students who want to upgrade their skills, progress in their careers, or transfer to a four-year business program. We also offer the program for employers wanting to help employees earn a degree. Employers may contact elisha.suazo@slcc.edu for assistance with enrolling employees.

WHEN ARE CLASSES OFFERED?

Classes in the program are offered online so students complete course work when it’s most convenient. There are assignment and test deadlines to keep students on-track to finish classes within the 10-week block.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Tuition and fees are the standard SLCC rates and based on the total credit hours enrolled each semester. The approximate cost for the program is $8,500. Cost may be more if prerequisite courses are needed or less if some requirements are already complete. Financial aid may be used. There is a $50 non-refundable program fee applied each semester.

DO ACCELERATED BUSINESS DEGREE COURSES TRANSFER?

Salt Lake Community College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and courses are transferable to most four-year institutions of higher education in Utah.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

SLCC students may apply for the Accelerated Business Degree program online by following the link on the ABD website. Upon acceptance into the program, students receive an email which outlines the program and includes important registration information. Students are encouraged to work with an Academic Advisor throughout the program to ensure all requirements are met for the Associate of Science in Business degree. Space is limited so apply today.
