I can help you connect with resources, prepare for a seamless transfer, and learn study skills and strategies to reach your full potential and thrive academically. I oversee Biology, and Life Sciences, Exercise Science - Fitness Technician. During our meeting we would set plans to helps you be successful at SLCC. We can meet to answer questions, connect you with study skills and resources, and help empower you to take charge of your own learning. Christina helps students in the Life Sciences.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Linguistics and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education, Culture, and Society from the University of Utah, a journey that spanned years, encompassed diverse perspectives, and included both traditional and non-traditional student experiences. It was a winding road, but every step added depth to my understanding of education and the people it serves.

With over three decades in higher education, 9+ years at SLCC, and the rest at the University of Utah. I’ve worn many hats. Most of my time at the U was spent in the College of Nursing, where I had the privilege of recruiting, admitting, and advising graduate nursing students. It was more than a job; it was a front-row seat to transformation and growth.

I believe higher education professionals should be both dreamers and doers. Positive, practical visionaries who challenge the status quo. My mission? To elevate every student’s experience. That means going beyond the expected, exploring new ways to serve, and constantly evolving best practices to meet the needs of today’s learners.

I’m passionate about creating meaningful engagement between students, faculty, and staff. Because when people feel seen, heard, and supported, amazing things happen.
