This tool offers help with everyday tasks like reading text out loud, understanding new words, helping with assignments, and editing written work. You can also have PDF files read aloud using their new OrbitNote tool.
Read&Write and OrbitNote are now available for free to all students, staff and faculty at SLCC.

Using Read&Write and OrbitNote in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome is easy! To get started:
- Watch this short 2 minute installation and login instruction video.
- Download the web browser extensions:
- Microsoft Edge: Read&Write and Orbit Note
- Google Chrome: Read&Write and Orbit Note
- Log in using your SLCC email and
- Students = user@bruinmail.slcc.edu
- Staff/Faculty = user@slcc.edu
