The Architecture Department's CAD, BIM, graphic and rendering classes require the use of computers and software some of their lecture-based classes also require the same to perform assigned projects and homework. To meet this requirement, there are several options available to the students.
SLCC has recently made their network software available over the Internet via ALL ACCESS. This allows you to access your network files along with Autodesk software on virtually any computer with Internet access. Go to ALL ACCESS and follow directions to download client software on your computer. If there are any issues installing and running the client, see Matt Mason (matthew.mason@slcc.edu).
Autodesk, the manufacturer of the CAD/BIM software the architecture department uses, allows students to download and use the software for free. (Autodesk Software products available)
AUTODESK DOWNLOAD INSTUCTIONS
Software Used: AutoCAD, REVIT, Max Design, etc.
The file size is large, so a good internet connection is recommended.
