Federal Work Study
Hire a part-time student at no cost to your department through the Federal Work Study program. Support student retention by providing career related experiences while strengthening your department's connection to the student culture.
Federal Work Study Description:
The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides financial support for eligible students for jobs on-campus, in local schools and in the community. Students may qualify for up to $6,000 per year through their financial aid and work part-time (up to 20 hours per week).

A successful Work Study experience should provide the student the opportunity for:
- Relevant, current career-related work experience

- Flexibility to allow for curriculum-driven time conflicts
