Federal Work Study Description:
The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides financial support for eligible students for jobs on-campus, in local schools and in the community. Students may qualify for up to $8,000 per year through their financial aid and work part-time (up to 20 hours per week).

A successful Work Study experience should provide the student the opportunity for:
- Relevant, current career-related work experience
- Direct exposure and contact with employees in similar positions
- Ability to gain on the job training while demonstrating skills and knowledge acquired
- Flexibility to allow for curriculum-driven time conflicts
