Student Responsibilities
Accessibility & Disability Services provides reasonable accommodations for your disability, but you’re responsible to disclose your disability and to provide appropriate documentation to receive accommodations.
You’re also responsible to meet reasonable expectations in your courses, and to seek the services you may need from other departments, such as Academic Advising, the Learning Center, the library, etc.
In addition, you should:
- Renew Accommodations (through your MySLCC, Accommodate Login) each semester after registering for classes, and discuss any changes needed to your accommodations.
- Discuss accommodation needs or changes each semester with your Accessibility Advisor. When classes start, contact your instructor about your accommodations.
- Request Accommodations
Contact your Accessibility Advisor if changes occur, you experience problems, or if your accommodations are interrupted.
