FAQs for SLCC 360 Communication Plan

SLCC360 is an opportunity to connect, in person, with colleagues across the college while learning about the strategic planning process and other institutional goals.

  1. President Peterson is encouraging all full and part-time faculty and staff to attend in person.
  2. To ensure full participation, non-essential campus offices will be closed.
  3. Essential staff, as determined by leadership, are invited to participate by registering for the virtual option.

All non-essential campus functions, as determined by leadership, will be suspended during the event. If you have any questions about whether your office will be closed during the event, please ask your supervisor. Flyers will be emailed to supervisors that can be posted to notify students of office closures.

SLCC360 will be in person on February 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grand Theater at South City Campus and the Health Science Auditorium at Jordan Campus. The program will be broadcast live from South Campus to those attending the event at Jordan. Presenters at South, and a live facilitator at Jordan, will guide the interactive portions. Although we strongly encourage in-person attendance, a virtual option will be available for essential employees or those needing accommodation. Please reach out to your supervisor with specific questions or guidance regarding attendance.

Online registration is open at SLCC360 | SLCC. There will be three different registration options:

  1. South City Campus (In-person)
  2. Jordan Campus (In-person)
  3. Virtual (specifically for essential personnel or those needing accommodation)

Additionally, employees hired in 2024-2025 are invited to attend a New Employee Pre-Plenary Session. This session offers an opportunity to network with fellow new hires, hear a special message from President Peterson, and enjoy reserved seating for the event.
