The Electronics Technology program supports a wide variety of electronic systems. This accredited program prepares students with the necessary skills to become technicians in several critical electronic related industries. Students are introduced to a wide variety of tools, instruments, power supplies, signal generators, practice 5, and procedures. The program uses a competency based hands-on approach, with other teaching methods that will be employed throughout. Internationally recognized IPC certifications are available in this program. This program prepares students to pass a nationally recognized Certified Electronics Technician exam.

Course/Program Delivery Model

This program is offered in a Competency Based Education (CBE) format. Students will be expected to invest a minimum of 24 hours per week for Full-time students (if using a Pell grant or VA funding), or a minimum of 12 hours per week for Part-time students, on completing coursework. Students will enroll in each course according to the established sequence in the catalog.

Students who only need one or more courses for purposes other than earning a certificate for a full program of study may enroll for Personalized Professional Training (PPT) courses, available in select program areas.

Students receiving Federal Financial Aid or VA funding please contact your academic advisor for specific information regarding eligibility.

Students need a USB Flash Drive and headphones for the first day of class.
