HOW TO REGISTER
This 11-hour course meets for two consecutive days for training and examination. At the end of the course students will be able to detect and correct pool problems including contamination, filtration, disinfection, water balance and heating or air conditioning problems; calculate the amount of chemicals needed to adjust pool contamination or imbalance; take and pass the CPO exam.
Note! Students must take their SLCC CPO training certificate to the County Health Department where their facility resides to apply for and receive a CPO license.
Operators are strongly encouraged to attend the LIVE course to achieve the best learning outcome. The Live Webinar is designed for operators who live outside the Wasatch front for whom travel is more difficult. Live Webinar participants should be fully engaged for the entirety of the course to assure the best learning outcome and ability to pass the exam.
Participants must pass the examination given at the end of the training to receive their certificate, which is valid for a period of five years. Participants who fail the exam can attend one future course free of charge and take the exam again.
