The Adobe Software Programs are comprehensive learning experiences designed to build expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign. Over 8 weeks per course, participants will master essential tools and techniques, preparing them for industry-standard certifications in visual design, graphic design, or digital media publication.

Courses are scheduled in a cohort model, but they are not prerequisites for each other (for example, you do not need to take Photoshop if you are only interested in registering for InDesign.) If you are interested in all three, you can take courses in any order.

Completing the Photoshop course and one additional graphic design course qualifies students for the Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design certification, demonstrating a broad range of design skills. This program is ideal for those looking to enhance their expertise and achieve recognized credentials in digital media and design.

Adobe Photoshop

The Photoshop course teaches the industry-standard software for image editing and manipulation. This track covers everything from navigating the Photoshop workspace to mastering essential tools for creating and editing images. Students will learn how to work with layers, modify colors, add text, and utilize other common features to enhance and refine their designs. By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to take the Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop certification exam. This certification demonstrates a professional level of proficiency in Photoshop, recognized by employers. Adobe Illustrator

The Illustrator course teaches essential skills for digital media and typography. Upon completion, students will be prepared to earn the Adobe Certified Professional in Graphic Design & Illustration using Adobe Illustrator credential, a highly regarded credential in the design industry. Adobe InDesign

Adobe InDesign focuses on creating professional layouts and managing complex documents. Participants will learn to navigate and customize the InDesign workspace, manage layers and pages efficiently, and utilize core tools for creating, modifying, and organizing document elements. The course also covers advanced techniques for manipulating content and optimizing designs for various platforms, from web to print. By the end of this course, students will have the skills needed to prepare and export high-quality designs and will be eligible to take the Adobe Certified Professional in Print & Digital Media Publication using Adobe InDesign certification exam. The Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design using Photoshop program is eligible for STIT funding to cover 50% of tuition. Utah residency is required. To see if you qualify for STIT Funding and to complete the application:
