The Adobe Software Programs are comprehensive learning experiences designed to build expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign. Over 8 weeks per course, participants will master essential tools and techniques, preparing them for industry-standard certifications in visual design, graphic design, or digital media publication.

Completing the Photoshop course and one additional graphic design course qualifies students for the Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design certification, demonstrating a broad range of design skills. This program is ideal for those looking to enhance their expertise and achieve recognized credentials in digital media and design.

Adobe Photoshop

The Photoshop course teaches the industry-standard software for image editing and manipulation. This track covers everything from navigating the Photoshop workspace to mastering essential tools for creating and editing images. Students will learn how to work with layers, modify colors, add text, and utilize other common features to enhance and refine their designs. By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to take the Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop certification exam. This certification demonstrates a professional level of proficiency in Photoshop, recognized by employers. Adobe Illustrator

The Illustrator course teaches essential skills for digital media and typography. Students will learn how to navigate, organize, and customize the Illustrator workspace, as well as master core tools for creating and editing vector graphics. This track goes beyond the basics, guiding learners through advanced features that allow for the manipulation, evaluation, and refinement of designs. Additionally, students will become adept at preparing and exporting documents in various formats, ensuring their work is optimized for web, print, and other digital platforms. Upon completion, students will be prepared to earn the Adobe Certified Professional in Graphic Design & Illustration using Adobe Illustrator credential, a highly regarded credential in the design industry. Adobe InDesign

Adobe InDesign focuses on creating professional layouts and managing complex documents. Participants will learn to navigate and customize the InDesign workspace, manage layers and pages efficiently, and utilize core tools for creating, modifying, and organizing document elements. The course also covers advanced techniques for manipulating content and optimizing designs for various platforms, from web to print. By the end of this course, students will have the skills needed to prepare and export high-quality designs and will be eligible to take the Adobe Certified Professional in Print & Digital Media Publication using Adobe InDesign certification exam. Short Term Intensive Training (STIT) funding pays up to 50% of training costs for multiple programs leading to high-demand careers. You must complete a STIT application to determine your eligibility. Funding is based on Utah Residency. If approved, you will receive instructions to register for the program you selected.
