About the Student Senate
The SLCCSA student senate has a student senator who represents students within the 6 pathways: Arts, Communication & New Media, Humanities & Social Science, Health Sciences, Mathematics & Engineering, Business, and Applied Technology & Technical Specialties by gaining input, raising awareness, and initiating action on student concerns.
Purpose of the Student Senate
Be the most effective Student Senate in Utah by dedicating ourselves to:
- Actively seek out student issues and concerns
- Effectively research issues and thoughtfully consider all possible solutions to problems
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve the student's academic experience
