How to get started
- Apply to SLCC
-
All students are required to apply to SLCC. The online Application for Admission is the fastest and easiest way to apply to the college.
-
- Placement Process
-
The Placement Process, ACT or SAT test scores must be recorded on the SLCC system before the student can attend Orientation. See SLCC testing services for more information.
-
-
All new students must complete a mandatory new student orientation to be eligible to register for courses. Transfer and returning students are also highly encouraged to attend; early participation in orientation will allow students to register up to ten weeks before the open registration period.
- Visit New Student Orientation for more information on dates, times, and locations of orientation programs.
-
Visit Academic Calendar for class registration dates.
- Visit with Advisor
-
It is strongly recommended that all students meet with their academic advisor in order to help them plan and prepare for the program of their choice
