Financial Aid Eligible Programs

Salt Lake Community College offers degrees and certificates in different areas of study. Click to view a full list of SLCC’s programs of study. Not all programs of study are eligible for federal financial aid. Information listed below of programs that qualify for federal financial aid and programs that do not qualify.

Programs Eligible for Financial Aid

Associate Degrees

All associate degree programs are eligible for federal financial aid – except for apprenticeships.

  • Associate of Arts degree (AA)
  • Associate of Science degree (AS)
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS)*
  • Associate of Pre-Engineering (APE)
  • Associate of Pre-Science (APS)

*Some AAS degrees are apprenticeships.

Certificate Programs

Some certificate programs are eligible for federal financial aid, some are not. At this time, only the following certificate programs have been approved for federal financial aid.
