Honors Lounge

The SLCC Honors Lounge is located at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus at the Rampton Technology Building (TB) on the third floor in room 323A. The lounge offers a welcoming space for honors students to study, relax, and interact with peers and staff. The Honors and Interdisciplinary Studies Coordinator’s office is also housed in the Honors Lounge for convenient and accessible student coaching and support.

In the space, there are plenty of comfortable seating and computer workstations for students to enjoy. Other features that the honors lounge boasts include a microwave, fridge for students to store their lunches in, kitchen supplies – plates, eating utensils, napkins, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate station, snacks, and library containing study guides and other books that students can borrow.

The lounge is also available to reserve for honors student or by honors staff/faculty. The lounge space can be used for meetings, workshops, lectures, or presentations with features that include whiteboards and a new projection system. To reserve the space, please check out the calendar below for availability and email Kathy Tran-Peters (Kathy.tran-peters@slcc.edu) with the following details: name, the reason for the reservation, and the date and time you wish to reserve.
