I hold a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature from the Department of Languages and Literatures at the University of Utah. I have taught first-year Spanish I and II at SLCC in person and via broadcast synchronous modality since 2014. During my years at SLCC, I have honed my teaching skills and stayed updated with the latest practices and methodologies in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. As an enthusiastic educator, my primary objective is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters language acquisition and inspires students to explore the Spanish language and culture.
