Financial Assistance Available at SLCC
You can obtain financial aid such as grants and loans to help you pay for college. The process isn't hard but requires you to apply for aid and respond to our information requests in a timely manner.
- Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - Apply as soon as possible, even if you haven't applied for SLCC admission yet. The process might take several months.
- Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships - One convenient stop for financial aid information.
- Student Loans - All kinds of loans for every kind of student.
- SLCC Scholarships and Tuition Waivers - You won’t know if you qualify if you don’t apply. You’ll be surprised by what’s available. Updated all the time so check back often.
- TRiO—Variable scholarships are available to eligible students. Contact TRiO Student Support Services for more information.
- Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver - Utah residents who 62 or older are invited to enroll in regular credit classes offered at reduced cost.
- High School Students Tuition Waiver (School of Applied Technology) - SAT programs are tuition-free for high school students who meet the standard entry criteria.
Non-SLCC Scholarships
- Third-Party Scholarships - Privately funded or non-institutional scholarships from a variety of sources. Updated all the time so check back often.
Student Employment
- Student Employment - Find a job, either on or off campus, to help pay your way through college. You might also qualify to earn college credit for your job through a CO-OP/Internship course.
- Work Study Jobs - You can apply for work-study jobs if you are qualified for Federal Student Aid.
