SLCC Student Association Executive Council
Purpose
The Executive Council serves as the governing body of the SLCC Student Association, representing and advocating for the student population. Council members bring student concerns to college administrators and promote shared governance by fostering collaboration between students and institutional leadership.
Who is in SLCCSA Executive Council?
The Executive Council of the SLCC Student Association is composed of four student leaders and three non-student advisors who provide guidance and institutional insight.
- The SLCCSA President serves as the council’s leading voice, representing the student body at Salt Lake Community College.
- The Vice President of Academic Pathways works to enhance and advocate for the student experience within the classroom.
- The Vice President of Equality and Representation focuses on improving student life beyond academics.
- The Executive Assistant supports the council’s initiatives, ensures organizational efficiency, and manages SLCCSA communications, including social media outreach.

The best time to involve the Executive Council of the SLCC Student Association is when you’re seeking meaningful student input, collaboration, or guidance on decisions that impact students. We are always eager to lend our perspective and serve as consultants on student-related initiatives, and we value being included early in the process. As full-time students with limited schedules, we do our best to accommodate requests and greatly appreciate advance notice and flexibility.
