Pay with a 529 Plan

If you use a 529 College Savings Plan to pay for college, you can have your plan provider directly deposit the funds into your personal bank account. Once the funds are in your account, you can make payments online through our secure billing and payment system.

Please note: Many 529 College Savings Plans now offer a digital distribution option (electronic ACH). This option saves time and enhances transparency with real-time payment tracking. When requesting a withdrawal from your plan, check with your plan administrator to see if a digital distribution option is available.

If your 529 Plan provider cannot accommodate the options above, they can still mail a paper check. Please include the student’s ID number and allow up to three weeks for processing. Plan accordingly for specific due dates. Please refer to our “Pay by Mail” section for our mailing address.
